Corner Pocket Holdings LLC ("we," "us," or "our") operates the WWYD (What Would You Do) mobile application and the website wwyd.fyi. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our services.
With your permission, WWYD accesses your device's contact list to help match you with people you know. We collect phone numbers and contact names, which are cryptographically hashed before being transmitted to our servers. We use this hashed data solely for the purpose of matching you with friends who also use WWYD. We do not store your raw contact list data on our servers.
We use Firebase Authentication to verify your identity via your phone number. Your phone number is used solely for account creation, login, and identity verification. Firebase Authentication is provided by Google and is subject to Google's Privacy Policy.
When you respond to prompts in WWYD, your responses are collected and aggregated anonymously. Other users can see aggregated results but cannot see who answered what unless both parties choose to participate in a reveal. Your identity is gated behind an explicit reveal mechanism -- no one can see your individual answers without your participation in the reveal process.
We use PostHog to collect anonymous usage analytics. This includes information such as app interactions, session duration, and feature usage. This data is anonymized and used solely to improve the WWYD experience. No personally identifiable information is shared with PostHog.
If you opt in to push notifications, we collect your device's push notification token to send you updates about new prompts, responses about you, and other app activity. You can disable push notifications at any time through your device settings.
WWYD allows you to invite friends via SMS. These messages are sent only when you explicitly choose to invite someone. We never auto-send SMS messages to your contacts. You maintain full control over who receives an invite, and all invites are user-initiated.

We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the WWYD service. You may request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by contacting us at the email address below. Upon receiving a deletion request, we will remove your personal data from our systems within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit and at rest, hashing of contact data, and secure authentication via Firebase. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
WWYD is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that we have collected data from a child under 13, we will take steps to delete that information promptly. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal data, please contact us immediately.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make changes, we will update the "Effective Date" at the top of this page and notify users through the app where appropriate. Your continued use of WWYD after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
